									<br>REPOSTED ON JANUARY 13, 2021<br>(Originally) Posted Oct 13, 2020 <br><br>Hello,<br><br>Please make sure your child is logged on for instruction today. <br>Classes begin at 8:30 with Homeroom announcements.<br><br>DORA TESTING (information online in the Google classroom) begins today. <br><br>DORA is accessible through CLEVER on the LGL (Let's Go Learn) platform. <br>You must be able to log onto CLEVER.<br>Once you log onto CLEVER, you will select the LGL (Let's Go Learn) icon.<br>Listen to all instructions and begin the test once it is assigned to you.<br>Make sure that you go to the bathroom and take care of any business before you begin the test.<br><br>Students who do not sign in online and are not present for visual attendance may be marked absent. The District Attendance Policy is in effect. Students are expected to be in class on time daily. <br><br>If you have any questions or there is a technical issue with your school provided Chromebook or internet access, please let me know. If the issue persists with a Chromebook, please return your Chromebook to the school for assistance with exchanging your device. Before returning your Chromebook to school, email the help desk at helpdesk@jcpsnj.org and copy gharris@jcpsnj.org . Be specific about your computer issue. The Help Desk does not resolve internet issues. If your issue is an internet issue, please notify me immediately and you'll receive information about applying for internet access from a local company.  If you have internet access and are experiencing internet access issues, please contact your internet service provider for assistance. This information is posted in your Google Homeroom. <br><br>We understand that you and your family may be experiencing some hardship or other issues. Our District  is aware of many issues that are  impacting our community. We have resources and information to assist, as well as qualified staff to provide assistance. Please let me know and an appropriate referral for assistance will be initiated. <br><br>Please, make a schedule and ensure that your student is well rested, awakened, fed breakfast, dressed and prepared for remote learning everyday.
