Kavya Jakasania, 13, a seventh-grade student at Frank R. Conwell Middle School 4, made it all the way to the semifinals last week in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, outlasting all but 21 of the more than 230 original contestants.

About Us

  • The Lego Robotics Team at P.S. #14 have worked together to identify a major issue facing Jersey City, researching options to solve, and presenting a list of their options on how to build a better Jersey City together.
  • P.S. #14 holds the title for District-Wide as well as City-Wide champs for Project A Girls Basketball.
  • Students in grades 4-8 participated in the Students 2 Science model program of New Jersey. The students took part in an authentic, state-of-the-art laboratory experience complete with modern instrumentation and professional scientists, as well as in a remote, web-based virtual experience.
